The CD-ROM contains over 250 home repair and improvement projects with easy-to-follow instructions and tips from experts, supplemented by over 2,000 videos, animations, and detailed images.[1]

Home Improvement 1-2-3 was originally developed and released in 1995 by Multicom Publishing as a hybrid disc for Macintosh and Windows 3.1. It was also optionally bundled with a companion book that presented a number of the projects in printed form.[2]
The Pippin version was released by Bandai Digital Entertainment USA in 1996.[1]
