SimCity 2000 is a disk-based simulation game that was originally released for DOS and Macintosh. A Pippin version had been mentioned in media coverage during its development.[1]
Development and release status[]
After the success of the 1989 release of SimCity, the sequel was developed by Maxis and initially released in 1993 for DOS and Macintosh on floppy disk. It was later released for many other platforms on CD-ROM, including hybrid versions.[2]
A Pippin port had been mentioned by French magazine Consoles +,[3] but was never released.[1]
